Lucas will be joining Governor’s Academy this fall as a 2027 reclass. The Malden Catholic DB/LB is fast and physical. He is a hybrid between being a LB and DB playing the nickel/overhang position most of 2024. He is very good tackler and processes information very quickly. He is equally as good in coverage as he is with his run responsibilities. Lucas does a great job of playing fast and with a high motor but being under control. He provides a lot of versatility for the Governor’s Academy LB/DB room and will be trouble for opposing offenses. Lucas will make an immediate impact this fall and benefit from an extra year and higher level football when it comes to recruiting.
