Ruckert is coming off a highly productive all-region season and has tacked on several offers here headed into his senior season. He is a lean, active player who will project as a true LB when you factor in future growth, but he played as a big nickel this past fall. He has the length and athleticism to line up over receivers in the slot, and he made several plays on the ball in coverage. He is explosive downhill with impressive closing speed. He acts as a ball chaser, and as a result, he is all over the field and flashes at each level.

A versatile Forsyth County linebacker who can do a little bit of everything for the Denmark defense, Ruckert is a natural defender who can make plays in coverage and rush the quarterback. He brings good size and quickness at 6-foot-1 210-pounds with the ability to sneak his way into the backfield and chase down the ball-carrier. One of the top defenders in the region, Ruckert made 68 tackles during the regular season with 15 TFLs and an impressive 8.5 sacks. He showed he’s good enough to play at the next level and will be one of the top returning defenders in the country next year as a senior.
