About Logan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

At linebacker, I try to play with tenacity, but also with control and patience. Because it's easy to overcommit or overrun the play if it's heading sideline to sideline. Regardless of the opponent, preparation is key to success.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm detail-oriented, so being prepared is definitely key to my success. As the linebacker, I feel it's my responsibility to set the tone of the team and lead by example.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

National Honor Society.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I hope my work ethic, not only on the field but in the classroom, leads by example to my teammates. As a two-year starter and leader of the defense, I've worked hard to become more of a vocal leader. As far as community services, my family and I helped feed the first responders and workers during the Hill Country floods that occurred back in July in Kerrville.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, I fractured my wrist during fall camp this past year, which required surgery. I missed the first two games of the season but was able to play the rest of the year with a cast and help lead our team to the third round of the 6A playoffs.

What type of college are you looking for?

I would love to play for a school that helps me grow not only as a player but also as a person. A school that has a winning culture and looks to push its players to improve each and every day.
