Ideal size, length, and growth potential for the Power 4 level after signing to Oregon State on early signing day. Does a great job using his length to his advantage to maintain separation and keep blockers outside his body. Shows excellent hand usage and quickness to fight through contact on his way to the ball carrier. Flashes the ability to bend off the edge while maintaining outside leverage to contain. Knapp has long been one of the top recruits across northern California after having a breakout off-season last spring and racking up a total of 9 offers before shutting down his commitment and pledging to Wyoming in mid June. After taking his Official Visit to Corvallis earlier this month, he flipped his commitment to the Beavers and is a big time get for them, as he is an exceptional athlete with tons of upside at the next level. So far this year, he has been one of the best two-way guys across the Bay Area, and will have no shortage of post season accolades coming his way.

Clayton Valley (Concord) edge rusher Logan Knapp Logan Knapp 6'6" | 230 lbs | DL Clayton Valley | 2025 State CA flipped his commitment from Wyoming to Oregon State this week.
Knapp has 24 tackles with six sacks and a forced fumble this season for Clayton Valley Charter.
He committed to Wyoming on June 18 and Oregon State offered Knapp on September 29. Knapp took an official visit to Oregon State for its double overtime win over Colorado State.

Knapp was flying under the radar in the Winter recruiting period, but has exploded this Spring and shown why he is one of the more sought after prospects across the Bay Area. No doubt impressing in-front of college coaches stopping by CVC, he should be a 10+ offer kid by the time he graduates and is a no brainer one of the best TE/DE combos in Northern California.

Knapp has tons of upside at the next level, as he has elite length and range for the edge/tight end position and is a two-way star for one of the best teams across northern California year in and year out. He finally has seen some positive traction come his way, picking up offers from Idaho and Washington State recently, and should see no shortage of other offers come in this Spring as he is one of the top players across the region after his 2023 campaign, and will lead a very talented Clayton Valley squad this Fall. Look for Knapp to be a multi-offer kid by the time it’s all said and done, as he has a unique combination of length, natural size and overall athleticism in space for someone of his size.

Knapp has been having a productive off-season and has been flying a bit under the radar as far as Junior prospects go across the bay Area. He has elite length for the edge position and is explosive off the ball with heavy hands and good bend and closing speed around the edge when collapsing the pocket. Also effective in the run game with a quick lockout, low base and strong lower half, he is a no brainer Div. I caliber kid that will likely be getting his first offer soon. He checks in just outside the top 30 at the position, and could be a candidate to rise up the ranks in the next update.
