I’ll be seeing this young man up close and personal tomorrow. Excited to learn more about his measurables and determine whether he deserves an elevation in our rankings. Am I too low on him? Is this the right spot? Is he ultimately going to be a priority Division II recruit? That is where I currently have him.
I want to find out whether there is more to his game than what I’ve seen so far. I took a peek at his most recent tape against Upper Darby, another program I’ll be seeing tomorrow.
I implore him to get a midseason tape out as soon as possible. He has a ton of readily available single game cutups, but it is much easier to form a complete evaluation when a prospect compiles his best reps into one concise tape.
His Upper Darby tape runs about two minutes and starts with Clark aligned as a slot corner. He is tasked with blitzing from that presnap alignment, sets the edge, forces the run back inside and helps clean up a play that gains just one yard.
Later, he is seen working as an outside corner in what looks like a nickel defensive look. He identifies a developing screen alongside his teammates and comes uphill with very little hesitation. Another cleanup tackle, this time showcasing his awareness and willingness to contribute against the run and underneath passing game.
He continues to handle outside slot corner responsibilities throughout the tape, but his third rep is easily his best.
He gets blocked illegally, manages to shed the block, recognizes an out route developing in front of him and immediately comes downhill to blow up the completion attempt. That is an impact play that simply doesn’t happen without Clark’s instincts and ability to recognize route concepts.
More reps like that will eventually earn him a higher ranking on our site. His ability to diagnose plays, react quickly and finish through contact is exactly what I want to see more of.
The remainder of his tape features some special teams production, adding another element to his evaluation.
Looking forward to seeing Clark in person tomorrow and hopefully getting a complete midseason tape from him soon. There is enough here to make me question whether his current priority Division II grade is too low.

is a talented outside linebacker/strong safety for Ridley. He does a nice job of playing in space. He reads his keys well and makes plays in the open field. He is especially good as a pass defender. He is good in both zone and man-to-man defense. He breaks on the ball and makes plays well. This past Friday night, the other team was running a wheel route. He was in man-to-man coverage on the slot receiver, and he ran right with him. It was great coverage by him. Clark had a strong game in week one. I expect that to continue.

Logan Clark Logan Clark 5'10" | 190 lbs | QB Shore Regional | 2027 NJ had a good showing at the showcase. He earned a top 5 distinction at the showcase and 2nd team defense. He showed good coverage skills all day. Especially in one-on-one competitions, where he excelled covering wide receivers. Clark is a stock riser who should move up from the wait list and be ranked during the next ranking released. I expect a big bounce for him going forward.
Thank you prep redzone this past Friday and also thank you to the coaches for helping with the guidance and advice to come out as a top performer. @PrepRedzone @PRZVicCastillo @247recruiting pic.twitter.com/Y8l0Ox4teO

Logan, a watchlist player in Pennsylvania, solidified his status as a top prospect with a standout performance at the PRZ PA Combine. Logan started the day with a showcasing in the 40 yard dash, looking silky smooth in his strides.
In live drills, Logan’s physicality and awareness were on full display. He forced a fumble with a well timed punch out, earning applause from all of the other DBs. Logan also showed he can quickly reaction to a receiver’s movement and has the potential to quickly bring a play to an end in the open field. While he occasionally overcommitted when pursuing routes, leading to a few misreads, Logan’s natural athleticism gives him a high ceiling as he continues to refine his game.
