McDaniel was one of the more smooth quarterbacks on Sunday. His delivery is smooth, his footwork is solid and his follow through looks good.

It was a windy day and it was tough for quarterbacks on certain parts of the day but McDaniel battled the wind nicely.

He knows when to fire the ball in there and when to put some air under it. It’s easy to see why he has a few offers under his belt already.

At 6’2” 180 lbs. McDaniel is a rhythm passer with a smooth over the top delivery. He’s a savvy athlete with the foot quickness to get into his drop and the pocket mobility to elude defenders while keeping his eyes downfield. Does a good job extending the play with his legs and improvising under pressure. Accurate to all areas of the field he throws with timing and can fit the ball into tight spaces where only his receiver can make a play. Good ability to throw from various arm angles and off balance platforms without sacrificing accuracy or velocity. Shows he can mix up speeds with good touch and trajectory to layer the ball over second level defenders. Not afraid to tuck it and move the chains with his legs when protection breaks down. Transferred to Colony to play out his senior year where he’s hoping to build on his four FCS offers.
