Liam Ludwig is a giant. Self-listed at 6’7” 243 pounds, this is a huge moldable ball of clay for an OT. Even when playing at a lesser weight, the strength had a little pop to it on film which surprised me. His movement at OT was good, and his technique for the most part was good. But i’m calling my shot on Ludwig because of just how high his ceiling is. He has the mentality to make a good offensive lineman, and the size just adds to it. If Ludwig can get up to around 275-280 in a season or 2, this is a kid with a huge power 4 ceiling.

– Without question he’s going to be a project to transform, but as an eighth-grader, you can’t teach the 6-foot-6 and 175-pounds he’s listed at.
– Incredibly tall, lean and a bit gawky right now. However, watching him on film, it’s obvious he’s a smart player that knows how to play to his strengths
– Also a basketball player (not surprisingly) he has recently announced he’ll be headed to perennial powerhouse Pittsburgh Central Catholic for high school. He’ll assume the role of the Ludwig on the Vikings squad, replacing of his older brother Connor Ludwig, who is off to play at Lehigh
