Leyton showed some encouraging flashes at quarterback during Trinity, particularly with his ability to deliver the ball accurately when in rhythm. He did a good job identifying targets quickly and placing passes where his receivers could make plays after the catch. His timing stood out at moments, especially when he trusted his reads and got the ball out on schedule.
