About Leo

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

High energy, high iq pro style pocket passer.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Highly self motivated, hard working athlete with a championship mindset. Team first attitude and always holds myself accountable. I lead by example but also vocal and strong at communicating. Extremely competitive, hate to lose, but I always take the disappointment out in the practice field and weight room.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Minnesota Ice 7v7 (Football) Black Student Union (Cultural) Jackson Pathways (Financial Literacy Internship) NSBE Jr (Engineering and Robotics) Honor Roll Awards 6-8th grade

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have worked a job the last two summers. This has taught me customer service skills, sales, and the importance of being a member of a team to help a company do well. I have volunteered for multiple community service projects including community clean up, youth sports camps, and reading to elementary children.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I’ve been considered too small throughout my youth career. Guys were always brought in to replace me. I’ve always persevered. I had to battle through osgood Schlatter and quadriceps tendonitis when I started growing. It has slowed me down but I have committed to rehab and have battled through it as I have been growing taller.

What type of college are you looking for?

My goal is to play at a scholarship level. I understand that recruiting has changed and my path to get there maybe challenging but I am committed to the process to achieve the goal.
