Layton Henry is a two-way starter for Columbus East High School. At 6-foot-1, 140 pounds, he has a lengthy frame with plenty of room to grow, add bulk and get better. At corner he uses his arm length effectively to break up passes, he can high-point the ball and come down with it as a receiver. Henry displays very solid hands over the middle of the field on bubble screens and is a threat to score.

is a strong two-way prospect for Greensburg. Transferring from Columbus East, Henry is a very good wide receiver and solid route runner who can work on his own, create separation and get open. He is likely an outside receiver at the next level. At safety, he can high-point the ball, break up passes and make plays. Keep an eye on him during college camps.
Henry is a possession receiver who helps move the chains and convert on 3rd downs. He gives his QB a big target and can go up and make some tough grabs. He’s able to fight for extra yardage when he’s got the ball and doesn’t seem to go down easily. He thrives on the outside when he’s able to use his body and box out the defender to make the catch. He got some work in Varsity this year and would expect him to be a full-time starter next year.
