Coaches should really enjoy how Lateef plays RB. The 2027 RB is so patient. There are so many highlights of him letting blocks set up and because of it he isn’t touched until he is 7 yards downfield. Love also does really well with his vision. He knows his aiming point, finds the hole, and once his blocks are set you see him stick his foot in the ground and attack. Once Love goes on the attack the 5’10” 185 lbs athlete is a tough tackle. He has some really solid contact balance and can recover when knocked off balance. He is coming off a productive junior season. Now is his time to really make anime for himself this summer with good testing.

A workhorse back for Whitefish Bay, Lateef was a must-add when the update came around. I love how patient Lateef is behind the line of scrimmage. He trusts his OL and gives them time to really open things up in the trenches. Once Love does see that hole open up he can stick is foot in the ground and burst through. Beyond the hole, Lateef has solid speed and contact balance to get the angle or run through an arm tackle. Take a look at the film.
