Larry has progressed in a couple areas since the start of the season and you see it right away on his first clip. The get off twitch has surely not only fired with more burst but at the end of the fall season is hitting on timing. The amount of penetration Larry gets with his growing get off hands shows you why he amounted for four tackles for a loss in their region championship. Probably the biggest 2026 sleeper on this list is Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock two-way trench monster Larry Umber Larry Umber 6'3" | 220 lbs | DL/ATH Linton/Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock | 2026 State ND . His first look on tape against Beach shows Larry with a size mismatch, but the determination and excellent pad-level he executes at the point of attack allows him to fluidly move that bigger body into the second level as a credit to his balanced footwork as during that rep. That next rep was also intriguing, as Larry won the hands and balance battle early and got the defensive linemens feet off balance and showed off the finish I want to see out of any offensive linemen out there. Larry still remains a sleeper in this 2026 class that I don’t know how he doesn’t have an offer yet.

I watched some early season tape on Larry and lightly put, this kid the definition of an athlete. His athleticism is off the charts for 6’3 240 pounds, as I haven’t seen a safety take the ball out of the air with one hand so effortless, much less a prospect with his measurables. Moving to the offensive line, Larry shows off his strength, balanced hands, and well-versed angle blocking accelerating the run game on the bulk of the reps I watched. No matter where you line him up, Larry looks like a man amongst boys, as I haven’t found a skillset yet that has not intrigued me as this young man is so balanced on both sides of the ball. Twitter
