In limited varsity reps, Schoenfelder recorded 6 tackles (5 solo). While Schoenfelder didn’t have any clips from his freshman tape, he had clips from his 8th grade season, though primarily at the RB position. For his size, Schoenfelder is an impressively slippery runner who can fit through tight gaps and shed off contact with ease to gain the most out of his runs. He also flashed explosive speed and hand-fighting skills against the Tackles to set the edge and limit the outside-run game. Schoenfelder has a good chance to start seeing much more playing time entering his sophomore year, both on defense and in the backfield.
