Powell played plenty of football last season and took control of the starting job but just by experience alone, he’s going to be better. The Flashes do not throw the ball often and Powell has improved in that area in the off season. He completed less than fifty percent of his passes and threw seven picks, but he could see those numbers blossom as a second-year starter. He does what Cribb asks him to do and that’s make sound decisions and keep the team out of second and third and long situations.
