Despite more contribution from his teammates on the defensive side of the ball for the Eagles, Mitchell was also the leader in tackles far and away for LB. He finished with 75.5 total tackles last fall, with two, now-graduated teammates finishing with roughly 50. He was a major asset in the run-game, as Mitchell often found ways to plug gaps in the opposing offensive line to stop ball-carriers in their tracks.
