About Landon

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I'm a lockdown defensive back known for elite coverage skills, quick footwork, and strong football I.Q. I play best in press man to man.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I would start off by saying i'm disciplined , motivated and relentlessly competitive. I show up early work hard when no one is watching and take pride in improving. My confidence and humility exist side by side in my character and I believe in my ability but I also respect my coaches , teammates and the game itself. I listen, learn from my mistakes and accept coaching without excuses.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I've been apart of the neighborhood clean up team for the past 3 years where I go out every 2nd Sunday of the month and clean up the trash in the street. I've received the neighborhood youth community I Care award.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Being in sports and in the community has helped me develop patience, determination and belief! The patience I've learned cane from learning to allow others to have emotions and feelings. The determination goes right along with my will to win! And seeing is believing. I watch and learn from all me experiences.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I've only had challenges on the field when I wasn't a starter as a freshman. My first time playing football and not playing much as a freshman taught me how to be patient but keep grinding. I knew my time was coming.

What type of college are you looking for?

Power 4!!!!!!!!

Cooper already boasts an impressive frame at 6-foot-0 as a freshman defensive back. He puts his length to good use when defending passes downfield, often getting just enough of a hand in to disrupt plays. One of his standout moments came on a punt return, where he showcased his elusiveness, quickness, and balance, proving to be a determined and dynamic ball carrier. The promising young prospect recently earned his first Division I offers, with Boston College, Pitt, and Toledo extending scholarships last month.
