The senior running back for West Clermont had a big game in the opener, scoring four touchdowns and having 215 all-purpose yards. A tough runner and threat in both the passing gam and running game who finishes forward on contact, he flashes great top-end speed and juice on some big carries that helped lift his team to a 42-7 win over Mount Healthy. Young earned top performers articles at a PrepRedZone camp.

Young, a rising senior, was one of the Camp MVP’s on the day. Young has a thick and powerful frame. Even though he’s a taller back, he runs with a low center of gravity. Having evaluated Young’s film he’s a violent runner, but where my eyes were really opened in the combine was his ability as a receiver. Landon ran solid routes and made explosive cuts. He showed the ability to make the catch through contact.
