West didn’t fill the stat sheet but he was one tough runner last weekend.

Although it wasn’t the game the all state running back is used to having, the kid just has no quit to his game. Even when it wasn’t going his way he ran hard and always kept his legs churning forward. When he saw a slight glimmer of space he did make the Eagles pay for not being in those running lanes and moved the sticks for his squad.

West was fantastic putting up 1912 rushing yards, and 24 TD’s.

The balance that this kid possesses is so fun to see in person, he absorbs contact so incredibly well and always keeps his legs churning forward for tough yardage. West also has the ability to turn the corner and make you pay for over pursuing.

West is one the best young ball carriers in the Southwest region and I don’t see him slowing down at all in his Senior season.
