. Weagley, like many on this list, is a defensive end as well as being a pass catcher. What is underrated about that is that Weagley, and all the others, have a different and innate understanding on how edge rushers operate, and how they think. The reason this can be important is that it means guys like Weagley will have an easier time blocking than others who don’t have that experience playing the other side. Blocking isn’t the only key to being a TE however, as you also need to be able to catch passes to be effective. Well he has no issue doing that, as standing at 6’2 Weagley towers over others his age, having no issue making catches downfield thanks to the size difference.

After for playing with Jefferson last year, Weagley is suiting up for the Dark Knights this fall season. On a team with as many weapons as the Dark Knights have, I’m sure doesn’t get as many looks/touches as he would like, but there’s no denying the bright future the multi-sport athlete has. He’s a big prospect (listed at 6’2″ and 170-pounds) with a great frame to add a ton of mass. Buy stock now.
