About Landon

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Offensively: I am a physical running back, likely influenced by my experience as a linebacker. While I utilize agility to evade defenders, I do not shy away from physical contact. Defensively: I demonstrate strong instincts for locating the ball, effectively shedding blocks, executing blitzes, and consistently identifying and pursuing the ball carrier.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm a laid-back, optimistic team player who loves sports and video games. I stay calm under pressure and value group achievement over personal glory. As Ray Lewis put it, "Everybody Gets The Ring, Or Nobody Gets The Ring.”

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

FCCLA (Culinary) and FCA

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I prefer to lead quietly, choosing not to draw attention but ensuring my influence is felt. My goal is to connect with every team member in the program, whether they're freshmen or seniors. I also actively contribute to my community by volunteering at local schools and helping distribute food to individuals experiencing homelessness.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Moving from freshman to varsity football as a sophomore required fast adaptation, learning a new playbook, connecting with new coaches, and building trust. Support from teammates and coaches, questions and advice helped me adjust. The experience gave me valuable lessons, and I appreciate the chance to improve daily.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm seeking a college that offers an excellent business or culinary program. Ideally, the school would be located close to a major city with plenty of activities. As a self-proclaimed foodie, I also want a university that's in an area known for its rich history, diverse population, and vibrant culture.
