On offense, he played as a running back and as a slot receiver. At both positions, he was a weapon. As a runner, he has excellent burst and quickness. He hits the hole with speed that makes him hard to tackle. Then he has excellent moves. Then, as a slot receiver, he catches the ball extremely well. I saw him catch the ball one-handed twice. He also returned punts and had good returns as well. Then, on defense, he was a good defensive back. Valente is a good athlete who is excellent with the ball in his hands.
