Big and physical with closing speed, Taylor had a tremendous senior year during his lone season at Bartlett but he has yet to reach a decision on where he will play his college ball. The Panthers senior defender added several offers throughout the process, however most of those offers may be off the table now after our 1st signing day. Taylor could be a guy headed down the JuCo route to begin his career but it will be interesting to see if any G5 or FCS schools come calling over the next month and eventually extend an offer. This is a true middle backer with straight line speed that plays up well on the college level along with the upside to rush the backfield.

Athletic and fast with an aggressive approach to the football field, Taylor comes in ranked 10th at his position as an inside backer that brings some versatility to the gridiron as someone that works well versus the run but can also rush the backfield. Taylor is an explosive guy who sports a quick first step and the range to chase down the ball from anywhere on the field. Looking over his film, this West Tennessee linebacker also shows the abilities with continued development to play in pass coverage. He does also need to keep packing on the weight to maintain in the college game but he definitely has the frame to put on more size. Power Five programs are all over Taylor and I expect several others to continue getting involved as the summer months go on.

Overall,Taylor awareness and motor are solid. Gets good extension to play off of blocks, with good activity to shed. Because of his leverage, actually holds the point of attack pretty well, especially for his size. He flows well laterally in pursuit; can get out to the sidelines and make tackles near the perimeter. Good athlete who can make tackles in backside pursuit.
