About Lakyr

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I love to do what is best for my team. I will do whatever it takes and do not care about stats. I want to WIN and Have Fun with my teammates/coaches.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Leader both on and off the field. I understand how to battle thru adversity when times are tough and just keep trying my best to overcome. I am responsible and dedicated to everything that I commit too and overall I am very coachable.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Have participated in Student Council.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Community Volunteer Hours within my community for the school- Help with little kids wrestling and football outside of my own schedule.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My middle school year, when playing basketball I fractured my growth plate in my knee. This was a big challenge for my in the sense of not being able to lift weights , attend State wrestling AAU and participate in Soccer/Track my 8th grade year. I overcome this by working hard in Rehab and getting cleared to start back up in May of my 8th grade year.

What type of college are you looking for?

Colleges that want to give me the opportunity to play football for them and overall have a great student on their campus to represent the University the Right Way.

Peska proved to be up to the task as a South Tama sophomore in 2025. He posted 24.5 tackles, 20 of which were solo stops. Peska’s 10th-grade highlight video illustrates how he mixes it up on the defensive line. He disrupts and absorbs blocks. That spot certainly could be the path to the next level. The clips of his lining up at left offensive tackle make it seem like the O-Line will be his future. Pesky fires off of the ball and controls opponents. As a wrestler, he wins with leverage, active hands, fast feet and balance. His frame looks capable of adding good weight. Peska is packed with potential and is one to watch this fall.
