About Kyren

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a versatile athlete with experience playing WR and DB. My football IQ allows me to read plays, track the ball, and anticipate movement, skills that directly translate to the safety position. On offense, I’m able to adjust in real-time situations, create spacing, and use strong field awareness to gain first downs and yards after catch.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a humble and coachable athlete who leads by example. I’m not the loudest player in the locker room, but I’m always heard and seen on the field through my effort, focus, and consistency. I take feedback well, thrive in leadership roles, and can be trusted to complete any task I’m given. My approach to the game is built on discipline, accountability, and a team-first mindset.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Outside of athletics, I stay involved in school and community activities that help me grow as a leader and student. I’m a member of the Captains Academy at Maple Mountain High School, which focuses on leadership, character, and mentorship among student-athletes.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong leadership and teamwork skills. I lead by example, showing effort, discipline, and accountability in both practice and games. My experiences have also taught me the importance of communication, trust, and staying composed under pressure. Off the field, I’m involved in community service and volunteer opportunities that give me perspective and reinforce the value of giving back

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that values both academics and athletics, a program where I can grow as a student, athlete, and person. I want to be part of a team with strong leadership, accountability, and a competitive culture that pushes me to reach my full potential. I’m looking for coaches who develop their players on and off the field, and a school community that feels like family.
