Osborne has the type of frame at 6’3 190 that could take him in several different directions depending on how his body develops over the next few years. That versatility was on display at Faulkner, where he competed at all three levels and showed he can move around comfortably. While there are several possible paths for him, I find myself particularly intrigued by his long-term upside as an EDGE defender if he continues adding size and strength to his frame. Osborne is still a bit of a projection, but the physical tools are there. He’s the type of athlete worth keeping a close eye on this fall because a strong senior season could bring in several offers.

“Osborne is a talented defender who can line up and produce on the line of scrimmage and deep in the secondary. He’s terrific at rushing the passer, can provide great run support, and constantly flies around the secondary to create huge stops.

I’m most impressed with Osborne’s pass rush. He’s so explosive off the line of scrimmage, thrives off his speed and quickness, and consistently leaves OTs in the dust to pressure and take down the quarterback. I really look forward to seeing his senior year– there are few defenders as versatile as Osborne is.”
