Elkhorn Valley’s Korbin Werner Korbin Werner 6'4" | 225 lbs | TE/DL Elkhorn Valley | 2026 State NE is a sleeper prospect from the 8-man ranks. Korbin is a budding two-way star at tight end and outside linebacker for the Falcons after racking up 90 tackles, 11 TFLs, two sacks, a forced fumble, and two blocked kicks. Werner also hauled in 20 receptions for 183 receiving yards and two touchdowns on offense. Watching Korbin’s tape, it’s clear that he’s just a flat-out football player! Defensively, Werner is a dominant edge presence who can create pressure against the pass and shut down opposing run games. He does a great job tracking the ball with the burst to chase ball carriers downfield. On offense, his 6’4″ and 200-pound frame and athleticism allow him to be lined up in various spots to exploit mismatches. He’s very physical and is a near-lock to come down with jump balls. Korbin also displayed a bit of a mean streak when blocking in the run game. Great all-around player!
