About Korbin

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my playing style as versatile. I can make my reads, run when necessary, see both sides of the ball quickly, and extend the play. I can make long-distance completions and am not afraid to lower my shoulder for a first down when needed.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is positive. I like keeping my team motivated on the sidelines and in the weight room. My personality is hard-working and funny. I am willing to put in the extra work to be my best. Outside of practice and lifting times, I work on my skills at home daily. I show up early and am the last to leave.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I work approximately 10hours a week and am part of the Wrestling program. Before High School, I was part of a children's theatre group for 5years. I received the President's Education Award for outstanding academic achievement in 2022. I am on the honor roll and have had multiple character awards.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

The skills and qualities I have developed include leadership, responsibility, respect, and my readiness to work and put in the time to be my best. I have developed a determination to face challenges head-on. These skills help in my everyday life as well as on the football field.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One significant challenge I have faced is an injury. During the second game of my 7th-grade season, I was sacked mid-pass. We both fell on my elbow, causing a spiral fracture. I had surgery and now have screws in my elbow. I worked hard in the off-season to rebuild the strength and pliability in my arm and returned the next season, regaining the starting quarterback position.

What type of college are you looking for?

The college that I am looking for has a good football program and strong academics. I would love to attend a Big Ten school.
