Kooper is another key player in Oakdale’s defensive backfield as a physical cover CB. A strong tackler, he will come up and support the run and throw his body around to make the play. In coverage he can play a nice trail technique, getting his hands on the ball for lots of PBUs. Good overall ball skills as well, Kooper is quick to turn & locate and then go up for the ball to secure the interception. A top defender for the Bears, Kooper is set to have a big time senior year. Already holding a few D3 offers, I expect him to be on the radar for many more D2/D3 schools this fall.
