Winquist’s Hudl page contains a limited number of clips from his freshman season. What we do see is a powerful defensive tackle that plays with optimal pad level and leg drive. He’s quick off of the snap and gets O-Linemen on their heels. The plays on his Hudl are against three of the Eagles’ top opponents in OABCIG, West Lyon and Woodbury Central. In them, he delivers two tackles for loss and blocks a field-goal attempt. He finished the season with 5.0 TFLs, 1.5 sacks and eight solo stops. Not bad for a ninth-grader on varsity. Expect a leap forward in play and production in 2025.
