Kindall had a great Junior season in 2024 where he made 30 Tkl with 6 TFL and had 11 PBU with 2 INT. His great play helped the Maple Heights Mustangs to an 8-win season where they advanced to the 2nd round of the playoffs and held opposing offenses to 16.3 points per game. He plays as a CB and SS. Against the pass, he uses his good play speed to stay in phase and closes quickly on the ball. He displays very good hands as he makes the interception. Against the run, he does a good job of reading the play and plays with good leverage before making the tackle behind the LOS for a TFL.

I saw Brown in-person at the college day circuit last spring and he is a very good prospect. He has legitimate deep speed as a slot receiver. He also contributes on defense as a defensive back. His college fit is likely on offense.

6. Raw Talent Sports
This is how an FBS prospect should perform at an event like this. Dominant front to back, start to finish. I came into this event excited to see some Ohio talent, specifically a prospect like Kindall Brown, he’s already decorated and well-known out West. All this being said, the kid impressed me beyond what I would have expected. I’m not sure Brown missed a single assignment, let alone any catches given up on his accord. A mixture of man/zone coverage, a mix of alignments too, primarying at safety but coming down and playing the slot if need be in some games. More than his interceptions and PBUs, I came away impressed with Brown’s physicality, vocalness, and IQ. Watching him weave between zones, watching him lockdown wideouts with annoying hands and phenomenal lateral agility, the complete Brown package was a joy to watch this past weekend. I can’t say more, he put forth the top defensive performance in my opinion.

Brown is a defensive back who started picking up D1 offers off the heels of his freshman season. As a sophomore, he’s continuing to put out good film and performances in offseason showcases. He won MVP’s at both the Best of the Midwest and Cleveland Browns showcases over the last month. Kindall is a rangy free safety who is able to cover a lot of ground quickly and make plays all over the field. He’s comfortable both in centerfield and he also lining up on the line of scrimmage and playing man coverage. He’s also explosive and times his blitzes well. Brown has several D1 G5 offers in his pocket. I expect him to start to garner P4 interests this offseason as he performs well at camps.
