Abdul-Aziz has a tight release and smooth throwing motion. He threw well off-platform and when he was able to set his feet.

At 6’3” 185 lbs. he’s a strong pocket passer that has savvy athleticism to make plays with his legs. Shows clean footwork and mechanics in the pocket, he’s quick to get into his drop and throws off a well-balanced platform with an over the top release to get good extension. Love his mobility in the pocket and how he’s able to extend the play by feeling pressure and avoiding sacks. Throws well on the run to either direction without sacrificing arm strength or velocity. Coming off a strong sophomore season throwing for over 3,600 yards and 36 touchdowns while being voted All CIF-Southern Section, First Team All-League, and winning the D5 section. Jumped 25 spots in the overall rankings and is the only prospect in the top 100 without an offer. That should change as the recruiting cycle progresses and he’s able to show his skillset. Great upside.

Abdul-Aziz had a breakout season for Orange Vista and led the team to its first CIF championship in school-history.
He is more of a pocket passer than a runner although he can scramble and extend plays with his legs. His release is smooth and some of his film is from a drone or endzone cam and you can see he makes the right reads a lot of the time.
Abdul-Aziz could improve his accuracy a bit and sometimes he takes unnecessary risks with the ball. He hasn’t gotten his first offer yet but his frame and footwork make him an appealing prospect.

is fourth among sophomores in the Southern Section in passing with 2,400 yards and 16 touchdowns.
He surveys the field well and often hits his second or third target through his progressions. Abdul-Aziz keeps his eyes on the secondary even when under pressure.
The sophomore sometimes takes risks with the ball, but he is pretty accurate when throwing into tight coverage.
