The Jump: 35 Spots
One of my favorite DL from this Class that we have watched develop for years is

of Rufus King. The senior dominates in the trenches with his explosive first step and the way he is able to quickly create power with that first step quickness. Khadin is a one gap type of DL who is going to put a lot of stress on IOL as they try to cut him off before he shoots through the gap. The senior is a disruptive athlete that is able to pile up the stats and even effect plays when he doesn’t get to the ball. Can’t wait to see where he is going to commit. A team is going to get an exciting DL piece.

A steal in the defensive trenches is the senior DL out of Rufus King. Khadin once again spent the season living in the opposing backfield. His first step quickness and ability to turn that speed into power allowed him to win snap after snap this season. The senior plays with strong hands and upper body that allows him to create separation so he can then disengage and beat the block. Khadin is one of the most disruptive defensive linemen in the state and has been for a couple seasons. The senior DL won’t be available for long so reach out to him while you can.

This was my first time getting to watch the Rufus King product in person. It was a strong showing for the ’25 DL who was able to earn himself his 5th offer overall and 1st from the WIAC. Khadin showed a low center of gravity and used leverage to create a consistent push against the OL. He was able to drive his man off the ball and could toss them out of the way with strong hands. Khadin paired that power with fluid lateral movement so he could get in position to only need to beat half a man. Khadin will be leading a deep DL group this fall.

. The 6’1″ 290 lbs ’25 is the mismatch and force you look for to add to the middle of your defense. Khadin is a nightmare to block one on one. He has an excellent burst off the line and shows an exciting array of ways to beat IOL. Khadin wins with impressive lateral agility and body control that leaves OL striking at air as he slips past them. The junior also shows heavy hands that he uses to effectively swipe away from his body. Williamson also has the strength to collapse the pocket with his bull rush. Khadin is also effective at holding the line. He can play stout against double teams and has shown he can split them and get to the ball. Khadin plays with a high motor to go along with the power, quickness, and technique. He is a well rounded prospect that has continued to get better and better. He holds three D2 offers from Mankato, Bemidji State, and Concordia- St. Paul.

We wrap up with a DT who has started making noise this past season. The 6’1″ 280 lbs DT finished with a dominant 14 sacks and 17 TFLs. Those numbers alone have my attention, but then you turn on the tape and the excitement takes another jump. Khadin was a menace on the interior in ’23. He flashes quick, strong hands and agile feet to quickly get to the heels of IOL. Williamson also has a nice initial burst off the line to get quick penetration through gaps. Williamson also uses leverage consistently with his natural power to create an effective bull rush. Khadin is on the rise. Check out the IDL’s tape.

Stats: 8 Tackles, 3 SacksrnKhadin is turning himself into a solid next level prospect. In Week 3 he was really able to pile up the production, and he did it while showing off multiple strong parts of his game. The first sack demonstrates the burst and explosive first step that Williamson can play with. It instantly gets him in position to get skinny and rip through the gap. The second sack Khadin simply muscles his way through two linemen and corrals the QB. The third sack shows off even more power as he engages, locks out to create separation, sheds with those strong hands, and makes the stop. That power, use of hands/length, and quick first step show up over and over on the tape. Don’t sleep on the up and coming junior. He put together a great Week 3.

Stats: 8 Tackles, 1 SackrnThe highlights start off with a bang for the 6’1″ 270 lbs junior DT. He shows off the strength and ability to play with leverage as he walks the OG right into the QB’s lap for the sack. Each play in the highlights show that Khadin is doing a great job of consistently playing with his hands. The junior showed off some lateral range too as he was able to slide down the line, avoid a blocker trying to crash down on him, and then make the tackle. Check out the complete highlights below.
