is a talented senior out of Cherokee County who’s been terrific on the ground this year.
“Woods is explosive with the ball in his hands, he plays with a ton of speed and twitch out of the backfield, and is a threat to take it the distance every carry. Woods has great vision, is patient for blocks to develop, and finds the best lane to take the ball upfield for huge plays on the ground.
Woods is also highly elusive and can easily make defenders miss behind the line of scrimmage and in the open field. Pairing that with his contact balance makes him a hard player to stop- he’s a shifty back who can withstand hits and step out of tackles, constantly causing headaches for opposing defenses.“
Woods has been unstoppable this season. Through 10 games, he’s racked up 1985 yards and 20 TDs off of 252 carries.
Make sure you watch some of Woods’ tape below. He’s had a great season.

Woods is quietly showing potential to be a quality three-down back at the next level. His quick feet and lateral movement allow him to create space, while his size-speed-strength combo makes him a problem to bring down. Inside the tackles, Woods shows toughness and physicality, finishing runs with authority. On the goal line, he’s an absolute finisher, built to fight through contact and maximize every carry.
