Fokou was the starting running back for Westerville Central. He’s a big back who has a long and thick frame. He’s explosive in his cuts. In one on one he showed the ability to drop his hips and get in and out of breaks. Fokou in only in his second year of playing football. His natural instincts are impressive considering his relative inexperience. In my mind he’s a great fit for a zone run scheme as a one cut runner.

Fokou was a fast riser throughout the 2025 season, and his ranking showcases that. He’s a late registrant, but he’ll be one of the more talented running backs at the event. I want to know where his athletic scores fall, and with a big day, that could be the final tick for some coaches to pull the trigger on him.

KevinKing first played football last year as a sophomore and missed part of the season due to injury. Watching his junior film, I could never have imagined that he had played barely more than a season of football in his entire life. He has such great vision and a natural feel for finding the hole way beyond his experience would lead you to believe. Physically he’s a great blend of size and explosiveness. He runs with good pad level and shows of strong contact balance. He’d be the perfect fit for an inside or outside zone run scheme. As Fokou continues to get stronger, he’s going to add a whole new level of physicality to his game. I’d be shocked if he doesn’t burst onto the D1 recruiting scene this offseason because his ceiling is sky high!

I expect to see Fokuo rise in our next 2027 rankings update. Fokuo is a handful to get to the ground. There were several instances in which he was hit at the line of scrimmage or behind and still gained positive yards. He’s got a great frame and excellent contact balance. He’s explosive when in open space and is making a name for himself as one of Central Ohio’s most effective runners.
