Kevin Robins Kevin Robins 5'11" | 200 lbs | LB Butler County | 2027 State KY jumped onto our radar with a strong junior year. He lines up at inside linebacker where he is dominant against the run. Robins reads his keys quickly then explodes downhill out of his stance to meet the ball carrier before they can get going. Once he gets to the ball carrier, he does a great job of running his feet through contact to secure the tackle quickly, finishing last season with a team-high 117 tackles and 14.5 tackles for loss in 10 games. He also recorded one sack as a junior and played a key role on offense, running the ball 89 times for 594 yards and eight touchdowns while also catching 12 passes for 147 yards and two touchdowns. Robins currently holds an offer from Midway and I fully expect a lot of eyes to be on him heading into his senior year.

Robins is a quick linebacker who plays with good burst and gets downhill in a hurry. He has a knack for timing the snap and can create pressure in a flash before offenses have a chance to react. He plays with strong hands, wraps up well in space, and doesn’t let many ball carriers escape once he gets there. I like how aggressive he is attacking the football. He’s always looking to rip it out instead of just settling for the tackle. He had 14.5 TFLs, 4 forced fumbles, 3 fumble recoveries, and 2 sacks in year 3 and will be a leader for the defense as a senior.
