Martinez will most likely find his home on defense at the next level but is a bruising running back that gets downhill, drags tacklers through the hole and has good contact balance and leg drive when moving through traffic. Martinez looks for contact in the hole, runs behind his pads and has natural forward lean and is tough to take down once he gets going. He is a natural ball carrier and moves well with some short area twitch and lateral movement through traffic especially for being a bigger back and is going to be a very nice steal at the next level at the linebacker spot as he has a diverse skillset on defense and is one of the top linebackers across southern California heading into the 2026 season.
