The talented prospect has one of the better traits when it comes to route running, and he will be a primetime player for Harlem.

One of the top sleeper two-way prospects across the state in the 2026 class, Futrell is a dynamic athlete flying under the radar with terrific ball skills and a nose for the football. The 6-foot-3 180-pounder hauled in 39 passes and scored seven touchdowns on offense, and his dependable hands showed up on defense as well. A ball-hawk in the secondary, Futrell picked off an eye-opening six passes last season on defense, among the most across the state in his class. Now, he’s ranked as the No. 69 DB prospect in the state and should see his ranking only rise more and more over the next several months.

One of the top sleeper prospects in Augusta, Futrell is a productive two-way player with outstanding hands who had them on full display all season long. He shined at wide receiver, but really impressed in the secondary on defense. He has a true nose for the football and picked off six passes last season as a junior. He also made 25 tackles and broke up eight more passes in coverage. He’s one of the top returning defenders in the area and bound for a big senior season this fall.
