Expert Analysis
Matt DeBary | Prep Redzone Scout
An active small-town linebacker with a nose for the football. Stadler is a tough, instinctive defender who consistently puts himself in a position to make a big play on the ball-carrier. He may not be the fastest or biggest linebacker in his class, but he deserves lots of recognition after an eye-opening sophomore season. The 5-foot-11 195-pounder out of Harlem was added to the most recent 2028 Prep Redzone rankings after securing 108 tackles, nine TFLs and four sacks to go along with one INT in coverage. He’s one of the top returning linebackers in the region who is now ranked as the No. 29 LB prospect in the state for the 2028 class.

A fast-reacting, sure-tackling small-town defender who can really kill any particular drive, Stadler is a natural defender with great instincts and natural closing speed. He’s not the biggest or fastest 2028 linebacker, but he was one of the top defenders in the region and really lit up the box score for a sophomore. The sleeper linebacker made an impressive 95 tackles last fall to go along with eight TFLs and four sacks. He plays hard, loves to compete, and should be even more productive as a junior in 2026
