About Kenneth
Expert Analysis
Will Helms | Prep Redzone Scout
Dula battled injuries and a lack of targets throughout his high school career. He’d often shut down half of the field, frustrating opposing quarterbacks, while also limiting his statistical impact. He moved to safety as a senior and gained some weight. He’s a defensive chesspiece to deploy on the back end of the coverage, able to play multiple positions and in multiple base coverages.

A move from corner to safety has the potential to increase Dula’s action on the stat sheet, as he was avoided like the plague as a shutdown corner in 2023 and 2024 before an injury cost him his junior season. Now fully healthy, Dula will look to push Jordan-Matthews to the next level, patrolling the middle of the defense as a hybrid box/free safety and as a gadget guy on offense who can create explosive plays.

It’s all about health for one of the most talented defensive backs in the state. Two years ago, teams were scared to test him. Last year, he missed most of the season with an injury that lingered into the winter. Now fully healthy, Dula is moving to safety which could be his best position. Teams won’t be able to avoid him and his closing speed and coverage skills should give him some great film as a senior.

has the ideal frame for a defensive back at 5’10”, 160 pounds. Remarkably, he was just cleared to compete a day before the camp, yet he still performed at a high level throughout. Dula showcased his competitiveness by winning the majority of his 1-on-1 reps, consistently challenging receivers. He also flashed excellent tackling ability, demonstrating strong fundamentals and physicality. With continued development and consistent reps, Dula is a prospect to watch closely for the rest of the season.

Kenneth Dula is a dynamic two-way athlete who enters this weekend with a major opportunity to elevate his status into the top 10 rankings. Currently sitting at #12 among DB/WR prospects, Dula is poised to rise—especially if he continues to flash the elite playmaking ability that sets him apart.

Dula has been a high-level starting corner for a while, adding some reps at receiver this season. He’s sometimes hard to find in the box score, because opposing quarterbacks simply don’t look his way, meaning he rarely gets opportunities to make plays on the ball. This season, he’s done well to rack up some tackles and despite missing time with a concussion, Dula has really impressed us and we’re hoping he gets a few more opportunities to showcase his ball skills.

Dula had a strong offseason and we really like him as a prospect. His film can be deceiving becuase he just wasn’t targeted very often last season, giving up only one catch as a sophomore. His ball skills improved as the year went on and he’s flashed enough there to think he could have better interception numbers as a junior. The athleticism is there as he can easily dunk a basketball, with great explosion numbers. We have a high FCS grade on him, but he’s been a tough evaluation, so we’re looking forward to seeing him in person soon.
