Burtch has all the talent in the world, but he will look to prove that he is better than his ranking. The small-town lineman fires off the snap and uses his strong hands to fight off blocks and make a big play in the backfield. The Northeast Georgia native was one of the best defenders in the region last year and saw some respectable offers come his way this winter. Now the Carnesville native is ranked as the No. 22 DL prospect in Georgia for the 2028 class.

In November, this kid broke onto my radar. At the time, he had no recruiting buzz going for him, very under the radar. I though to myself, “there’s no way this kid stays like this.” Sure enough, I was right. I said it a few months ago, but his tape was more indicative of a P4 prospect than a sleeper. Prototype frame with the pursuit speed to chase the ball in space. Explosive off the line, can pop you at the point, just a whole list of things this kid is good at, and he is still growing. I am a massive fan of this kid, and he is a “my guy” candidate for me.
