Saw Kendrick all the way back in Loyola’s first scrimmage of the year and he impressed me right from the jump. He continued on having a big season, leading the MIAA in rushing with over 1,200 yards and 12 TDs on the ground. Big back with size and strength. Kendrick runs behind his pads, breaking through arm tackles and fighting for extra yards. Good combo of speed/power, he can go between the tackles or bounce it out wide. Can be utilized in the passing gam as well, effective in screens and flares out of the backfield. I also see him display good balance, patience, and footwork in the hole before accelerating through with burst for big gains. Really like his toughness and competitiveness when he runs, does not back down from a defender. Dual sport athlete as well, basketball player, and plays some LB too.
