A gifted athlete that flashed at DB as a freshman for Serra but has the versatility and skillset to play multiple positions at a high level. Possesses natural coverage instincts in combination with his strong technique and footwork to stay in phase at all three levels. Fluid in the hips and smooth change of direction allow him to match WR movement and stay attached throughout the route. Plays with excellent pad level throughout his backpedal and coming out his break. His short area acceleration and transitional speed allow him to easily recover and make up ground with the ball in the air. Shows he can be a lockdown corner in press man or drop into zone coverage and play well with his eyes to anticipate ball location. Strong tackler that can break down and be reliable in one on one open field scenarios. Holds two D1 offers from Sacramento State and Miami and is ranked #35 overall and the #3 DB.
