About Kelton

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a physical, high-IQ corner with good instincts and ball skills. I play fast, trust my technique, and take pride in locking down receivers and making plays on the ball. I’m aggressive in run support and bring energy every snap.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’ve got a focused, competitive mindset. I stay locked in, coachable, and always looking to improve. I don’t back down from challenges, and I take pride in being a leader on and off the field

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m not in any clubs right now, but I stay focused on my academics and football. I’ve maintained a 3.7 GPA while training year-round, and I’m always working to lead by example in the classroom and on the field.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Football has really helped me grow as a leader and teammate. I’ve learned how to stay disciplined, communicate clearly, and hold myself and others accountable. I also had the chance to go on a mission trip recently, which taught me a lot about serving others and staying grounded. Whether it’s on the field or in the community, I try to lead with consistency, energy, and respect.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One challenge I’ve faced is balancing football with academics. Maintaining a 3.7 GPA while training and playing at a high level requires a lot of time management and discipline. There were times I had to adjust my schedule and stay up late to make sure I wasn’t falling behind, but it taught me how to be organized, stay focused, and never make excuses.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college with a competitive football program where I can grow as a player and compete at a high level. Ideally, I want a program that values hard work, discipline, and team chemistry. Academically, I’m focused on finding a school that challenges me and offers strong support for my future, both on and off the field.
