My PRZ collegue Mark Johnson called Kellen “disruptive” in a recent write up on Wisconsin defensive linemen just two weeks ago and lets just say that was the perfect word I would describe Kellen’s efforts at the UWEC Big Man MEGA Camp. Amongst the defensive line group the 6’1 230 pound from right up the road at Eau Claire Regis, Kellen was in my top-tier for the most overwhelming hands in the live eval of the 2028s I got to watch. He was one of the more well-rounded 2028s that I got to watch in Eau Claire that will also show you on tape, has great short-area vision as a run-stopper.

Kellen is a small school DL who will be well worth keeping a close eye on. Watching through his sophomore highlights gets me excited or his summer and future. Kellen is a twitchy athlete in tight quarters, easily making OL miss or at least getting angles so he only has to defeat half a man on his way into the backfield. Kellen does really well with his balance and change of direction too. His tape shows him constantly be able to counter when his initial plan doesn’t work. Crow also stands out with his ability to turn his quickness into power when he makes contact with OL. This is a disruptive 2028 DL that should be able to put together a solid summer.
