Kelahn is a player I got to watch first hand in the spring and he was impressive the second he hit the field. At 6’3″ he was a hand full for smaller defensive backs, as he used his body to box them out from the football. He also has excellent speed and does a phenomenal job of high pointing the football. Kelahn also does a good job running very crisp routes. Though his specialty is the deep ball he also does a very nice job dropping his hips and snapping out of his break on out routes or quick hitch routes. Watch out for Kelahn this fall and don’t be surprised to see his recruitment sore as the season progresses.

It’s not that I had any negative opinion about Thorns at any point-I actually had absolutely no opinion, because I had been flat out missing him! That all changed this spring at our Buckeye State Blitz event, and I haven’t been able to shut up about him since. An insanely gifted athlete with legit track speed, a strong and physical frame and a relentless work ethic, K3 is ready to be a breakout star this fall. I have no idea how I was overlooking him for this long, but thankfully he is now getting the love he deserves.
