Frei checks into our rankings as the top two-way athlete in Idaho, and the number two overall prospect in the 2027 class. He is a elusive and explosive play-maker on offense, while showing elite ball skills, hip fluidity and cover abilities downfield from his corner position. Frei can play either in the slot or backfield, shows a strong initial burst through the first level with cutback abilities and good vision in tight windows, and is very difficult to take down in one on one situations due to his short are quickness and lateral movement in tight spaces. Defensively, he is a high IQ kid that triggers quickly, has natural ball skills at the point of attack and shows return abilities as well. Overall, he has tremendous natural football instincts, open field speed and offers position versatility on both sides of the ball.
