Keagan Maher Keagan Maher 5'8" | 175 lbs | RB/ATH Randall K. Cooper | 2026 State KY is a running back who has been on my radar for a while now and continued to impress as a junior, running the ball 162 times for 1,433 yards and 22 touchdowns in 14 games. Maher is a very tough running back to tackle as he has the elusiveness to make defenders miss and the strength/contact balance to break tackles with ease. He has also shown the burst of speed to run away from the defense once he hits the second level. Keagan also made an impact in the passing game as a junior, catching 22 passes for 237 yards and three touchdowns. Maher currently holds an offer from DePauw and I expect more to come his way going into his senior year.

Coming in at number five on my list is Keagan Maher Keagan Maher 5'8" | 175 lbs | RB/ATH Randall K. Cooper | 2026 State KY , a running back/athlete at Cooper High School. Maher catches my eye with his ability to shake the defense on the run, proving he can remain durable in the pocket and find a way into the open field. I also like how Maher can use bursts of speed to fly ahead of the defense and take it all the way into the endzone.

Also worth mentioning is Keagan Maher Keagan Maher 5'8" | 175 lbs | RB/ATH Randall K. Cooper | 2026 State KY , a running back at Randall K. Cooper High School. Maher made a considerable difference last year due to his size, electric speed off the snap and his ability to defeat the defense from along the edge. Maher proved he can pick up speed to take it to the house. I also like Maher’s durability in the pocket, using his shiftiness on the ground to slip past openings.

Keagan Maher Keagan Maher 5'8" | 175 lbs | RB/ATH Randall K. Cooper | 2026 State KY is a running back that has been on my radar for a while now and climbed up our rankings with a strong sophomore season. Maher finished this past season with 185 carries for 1,204 yards and 18 touchdowns in 15 games. Keagan has explosive speed which he uses to burst through the running lane and run away from the defense on long runs. He has also shown the elusiveness to make defenders miss in the open field. Maher also played a key role in the passing game this past season, catching 28 passes for 309 yards and four touchdowns. Keagan doesn’t currently hold any offers but he should be a player for college coaches to keep an eye on over the next two seasons.

rnComing in at number five on my list is , a running back at Cooper High School. What I like most about Maher’s playstyle is his ability to dodge and weave the defense both inside and outside of the pocket, proving his durability under pressure as well as his ability to break free of the defense. Another facet of Maher’s playstyle that made a huge difference for the Jaguars this past year was his ability to pick up speed on the ground and take it all the way to the house, showing off his ability to create excellent seperation in the backfield.

rnClaiming the number three spot on my list is , a running back at Cooper High School. Maher and the Jaguars picked up a 49-21 victory over Scott County this past week. What makes Maher so efficient on the ground is his overall explosiveness off the snap and ability to quickly pick up speed in the pocket as well as capitalize on openings in the defensive line to escape into the backfield. I’m additionally fond of how Maher can juke out defenders with his footwork and consistently break tackles.
