Johnson is talented in pass protection, but is a devastating blocker in the run game. Johnson uses his 6’3 250 size to win in the trenches but also plays with a ton of power and agility to open up opportunities for his teammates all around the field. Frequently on tape, you can find Johnson opening up huge lanes at the line of scrimmage, then climbing to the second level to flatten out linebackers and defensive backs. In pass protection, Johnson utilizes some of the same traits and consistently works with his teammates up front to provide a clean pocket and keep defenders away from the quarterback. Johnson is a talented player who plays with a unique blend of physicality and aggression, and teams at the next level are starting to take notice. Johnson picked up an offer from Tuskegee earlier this summer and with how well he’s played we could see him pick up some more.
