Duncan, a Tulane commit, was one of my favorite watches when rifling through this 2027 DL class. He is listed at 6’2 and hovers around 300 pounds. For that size and body type, he plays with more activity and finesse than most other players with his frame. He is explosive off the line, consistently pulls himself into the backfield, and has a devastating arm over move that he uses to free himself. Once free of blockers, his ability to chase the football and mirror ball carriers is elite. I love everything about this tape and think he will be an impact player at the G6 level.

Kavarris Duncan is a talented defensive lineman from Winterboro who’s taken off as a playmaker the last two seasons.

Duncan is a massive threat on Winterboro’s defense that everyone needs to look out for this upcoming fall. I’m excited to see what he can do. He’s a talented prospect with a bright future ahead.

Duncan is one of the more underrated front-seven defenders in the state, but the athletic profile jumps off the film immediately. He brings rare quick-twitch, closing speed, and functional strength that allows him to disrupt games both off the edge and from the interior — with enough athleticism to play as a hybrid linebacker.

At the point of attack, Duncan plays with a relentless edge. He consistently beats blockers with urgency, violent rips, and a well-developed swim move, showing no hesitation when facing double teams. His grip strength, effort, and natural feel for living in the backfield translate to routine tackles for loss and a projection that clearly fits the Power Five level if he continues to develop and show it on film.
