Steinke showed promise as a quick decision maker, thriving in the short to intermediate passing game. He threw for 1,455 yards and 10 touchdowns, completing 48% of his passes. However, turnovers were a concern, as he ended the season with 24 interceptions. Despite that, Steinke displays the foundational traits, pocket presence, quick release, and command of the offense needed to develop into a high level player. As he adapts to the speed of varsity and continues to grow within his teams system, expect him to return with a chip on his shoulder and make noticeable strides this upcoming season.
